The St Dunstan in the East Church garden is a stunning location. At the heart of the city of London, it is a tiny oasis of greenery and ruins, beautifully interwoven to remind us that from tragedy can come beauty. The Church was built in 1100 and suffered great damage in the London fire but was quickly patched back together...only to be once again destroyed by bombings during World War II. Its remains was turned into a public garden. That's where this shoot takes place.

I created a romantic yet gothic look that I felt suited the mood of the garden. My Armed Angel dress is a beautiful floral piece I got from Honest DepartmentHonest Department is an incredible space where you can find some of the not so usual sustainable and ethical brands, the cool underdogs of the industry such as Dorsu (my t-shirt) or Tach.

Their mission is to provide an alternative to fast-fashion by selling brands that have built environmentally friendly and socially ethical practices into their business model.

The black t-shirt, from Dorsu, also bought at Honest Department, and boots (Bourgeois Boheme) give the dress a gothic vibe while it's floral print lets it keep its romance. I threw the hat on for fun!

If you are in London St Dunstan in the East is a beauty of a garden to marvel at or sit peacefully.
