We're living in some strange times but I'm feeling hopeful. Hopeful because despite the chaos in the human world, nature thrives. One of the most beautiful spring seasons I've ever seen in London has burst to life. One thing is clear I will never take for granted the freedom to go outside ever again. I swapped my running gear (during my one outing of the day) for this outfit to create my first Spring editorial look for the season. The theme? Velvet and leathers. This 90s "Charmed" vibe velvet dress I found at a swap by Stories Behind Things and loved it immediately. I decided to wear my super comfy Lenzing Modal black cami dress from Know The Origin underneath to complete it. My favourite leather jacket is also from a swap by Stories Behind Things (yes, they have the best swaps in the world). With leather jackets I've decided to never buy new again, simply because they can easily be found secondhand! The boots are a vegan leather fave from Bourgeois Boheme, they've been my besties all winter and transition so well into Spring too. As for the sparkly gold tights, I've had them for about 8 years! I bought them for a distant new years party where I was dressed as a funky pineapple (ahhh the good old days of socialising).
Anyways, I've been into hats lately since I cut my hair short. This one is my boyfriends and I burrow it often. Last but not least, I'm wearing a piece of jewellery I adore from a quirky yet edgy brand called MAM. I love how unique their style is, it's rare to see earrings created to dress the entire ear so beautifully.
