Colour me bright
Jacket: The Hayat
Jeans: Hot futures (vintage Levi's)
Earrings: Vintage Market (Brick lane)
It's not because summer is ending that one should stop wearing colours. Far from it! Be the sunshine when the sun is gone! This jacket is definitely sunshine in a piece of clothing.
Made by artisans in Mexico, this piece from The Hayat made me feel like Joseph in his multi-coloured coat. Beautifully embroidered, it's the perfect summer to autumn transition piece that will lift your spirits despite the cold settling in slowly. My jeans are vintage Levi's from Hot Futures. An awesome place to buy vintage jeans. It's easy to find your fit and they have a quality selection of denim. I live by a #nonewdenim rule. Anything I need that is denim I try to buy second hand or vintage and I've been able to find the most lovely pieces since, just like this pair of jeans. Denim pollution has devastating effects on our planet's bodies of water and people. I believe buying second hand or vintage denim is the consumer's way to help mitigate these effects.
