Few cloths are as empowering as West African print, it’s always bold and daring and for me has a way of underlining the pride I feel as a Ghanaian. This one is actually a skirt turned dress, tailor made in the UK for a cousin’s engagement party. It was a bit big as a skirt even though I managed to pin it to the side but then discovered it looked even better pulled way up under my armpit as a dress. Feeling fierce, I decided it needed an empowering shoot, so we trekked to the Red Beach in Santorini during our vacation there and captured a fierce, earthy backdrop for a fierce print dress.
