Watches: 2°EAST

Dress:  Swapped (at Loanhood)

When 2°EAST introduced their watches to me, I admired their dedication and authentic commitment to creating watches sustainably and ethically. We hardly hear about watches when it comes to sustainability, but 2°EAST is committed to researching and working towards creating fun and versatile pieces with people and the planet at the forefront. From zero-waste iron plating, vegetable tanning, recycled PET to their responsible sourcing commitment, plus working with Trees for the Future to plant 30 trees for every watch sold, 2°EAST is no doubt paving the way for new sustainable standards for the watch industry by making #watchesforkindness. They are also meticulous about ethical practices by incorporating a direct and transparent access to their supply chain.

I love the ease and feel of these two NATO straps. Each of their NATO straps is the equivalent of one recycled plastic bottle deducted from landfill which is an absolute win. The watch itself is stainless steel with zero-waste rose gold iron plating.  I truly appreciated how easy it is to swap out straps and how light the whole piece feels, making it fit for both relaxed or active moments in life.
